A Little About our Family
Claudia Babb Reich is originally from Suffield, CT. David Reich is from Kernersville, NC. They met in High Point, NC, when Claudia was attending High Point College (now High Point University) and David was in the Army. They have been married for 52 years and have 4 children; Carrie, David III, Peter and Will.
Together they own Best Logistics Group in Kernersville, NC. Reich Transportation was the beginning of the family business. It was a tiny operation on Main Street in Kernersville that Polly and David Reich Sr. started together to earn a little retirement income. David, Jr. took it over in1989 and it has grown into the company it is today where two sons and close to 500 other valued employees work.
The family enjoys Sunday Suppers together in Greensboro and usually go on an annual trip together. It is usually quite a crowd at family gatherings. Carrie and Randy Little have 2 college-age daughters (Ellie and Georgia) nearby for now, David III has 4 children (Olivia, David IV, Simeon and Josey) nearby. Peter has a big group of family-like friends from all over. And Will and Mary Clare have 3 young daughters in Greensboro.
In 2008, we established the Reich Family Foundation in 2008. With a committed focus on family and philanthropy, our mission is to put into action our deep-rooted values of honoring and respecting the dignity of others by striving to increase awareness of obstacles and open doors of opportunity.
